Ukraine is mostly flat or hilly March only for Ukraine's Crimean peninsula in the far south (which rises to 1500 meters) and the far west (the Carpathian Mountains rises 2,000 meters). The highest peaks of the Carpathians ("Hoverla" at 2061 meters, and others) are sterile and alpine skiing. Ukraine has many rivers - Dnipro (Dnieper), Pivdennyy OTP ("Southern OTP"), Dnister, Donets Siverskyy, Desna, Dunay (Danube), and many others - and its southern border is washed into the Black Sea, which links the Mediterranean via Turkey.

Vegetation

About half of Ukraine is covered in chernozem soil (fertile "black earth"), which corresponds roughly to the steppe region (long and short-grass prairies with occasional Woods). Ukraine is famous for the historic "success story in Europe." This is a strip of pine forest and deciduous forest (part of a lot of radiation from Chernobyl), after Woods broadleafed runs north-west of Ukraine. In particular, the landscape is misty Carpathian needle-leaf forests and a diverse and unusual vegetation Crimea.

Pollution

Cook the cold water tap, as hot water undergoes less processing. You should drink boiled water or bottled or filtered water. Many neighborhoods have no public wells, with an adjustment of water to drink. Radiation levels are expected to return to relatively safe levels around the largest part of Ukraine, although the official information on the subject sometimes seems strangely rare. Air quality in cities and towns may be poor, in particular, without the application of automobile pollution standards. However, there are areas in each city where the air is excellent (the author happens to live in) and rural Ukraine wonderful fresh air.

Ukraine's population

Ukraine has five cities with one million inhabitants or more: Kiev (2.6 million), Kharkiv (1.5 million), Donetsk (1.1 million), Dnipropetrovsk (1.1 million) and Odessa ( 1.0000000.) western Ukraine has more densely populated rural areas, but its largest city of Lviv, has only 790,000 inhabitants. Life expectancy for men is about 60-65 years and women 70-75 years. Low male life expectancy is primarily related to alcohol and drug use and accidents. Ukraine has one of the highest ratios of women to men in the world. The population dropped from several million dollars since 1990 due to emigration and low birth rates, both because of economic instability. Now that the situation improves.

Ethnic composition

In the pre-war and pre-Soviet Ukraine was a little more ethnically diverse. Today, the largest ethnic minority are Russians (15-22%). The gap between the Russians and Ukrainians, however, is often blurred, and the friction between the two groups is minimal. There are people who identify themselves as Ukrainians, but prefer to speak Russian and Ukrainian Russians prefer. There is a growing population of the Crimean Tatars that Stalin had exiled to Central Asia at some point. In addition to the above groups, large cities have a growing number of young foreign students, including Asian and Arab countries, and the merchants of Turkey and China. But in general, Ukraine is ethnically homogeneous.
